Connecting with your data sources
We start by connecting your CAT VisionLink application to Perspio™ via API, direct data feed or TCP/MQTT messages. We ensure a seamless connection without disrupting operations.

Technical details and requirements
Getting this integration going is easy.
Step 1
In order to bring Visionlink data into Perspio™, your Caterpillar dealer needs to generate API credentials.
CAT Visionlink has a multi-tier approach to API sharing, depending on the plan your particular asset is on. This either provides:
- no API sharing
- daily API sharing
- ‘real-time’ API sharing
Step 2
From your Caterpillar dealer, request an asset list with API privileges to get started – they will provide the information above as well as a document for us to fill in.
Once we have this filled, the process is underway for them to create the credentials. Generally, this process takes a couple of weeks to complete.
Step 3
Once this information is available, your CAT Visionlink data will flow to Perspio™ based on the tiers above!
